McDonald’s Interview-Led Video Series

McDonald’s returned to Kai Films for a series of interview-led stories pairing authentic voices with engaging, dynamic B-roll.

A new montage featuring this repeat-client work is currently in development.

Three stories, one approach

The work includes a profile celebrating Charlie Strong’s 50-year career and retirement; a story about an enhancement to McDonald’s first drive-through that helped triple the location’s business; and a profile of a team manager whose leadership shaped the restaurant and the people around them.

Production approach

Each film began with a relaxed, carefully prepared interview. Kai Films then built visual momentum with dynamic B-roll of the restaurant, team, customers, and day-to-day operations. This repeatable production approach kept each person’s story at the center while giving every film its own pace and character.

Outcome

Together, the three projects demonstrate how an ongoing production partner can create a consistent visual language across employee, leadership, and business stories.
