Kai Films was hired by One Firefly to shoot and direct a business story for its partner Sony, serving a specialized audience of high-end home audio and video integrators.

The challenge

The subject was complex, the audience was highly specific, and every interview needed to contribute a distinct point to the larger story. The production also had to meet clear budget and scheduling requirements.

Production approach

Derek Johnson and Ron Callis (agency owner) traveled through South Florida to capture eight interviews. Kai Films used a cinematic interview style to connect the individual perspectives into one focused story, balancing polished visuals with the clarity required for a technical business audience.

Outcome

The completed piece brought the interviews together into an elevated business story and was delivered within the project’s budget and timeline.
